Villa Rinaldi

We booked villa rinaldi for our wedding. The venue and rooms are beautiful, the food was good (except people complained that the last dish didn't have fresh fish) and the owners are nice, but that's it. But a lot of things went very, very, very wrong and they were strassing me/us for no reason. (Their wedding planner has been absolutely a NIGHTMARE. Just to be clear, we worked with her for 6 months ahead of the wedding, but she did nothing until 2 days before the wedding. Imagine that 6 days before the wedding, on Sunday a day before the Ferragosto, she told us she doesn't have bomboniere! Many other things were kept as a 'surprise' [she didn't want to show us] so I assume she couldn't share the details as she didn't have them. But starting from the beginning: - for no reason makeup artist nor hairdresser could park in their car park despite they were there in the morning and before any guest arrived to make me ready. Luisa, the wedding planner, was apparently surprised too. - they didn't allow us to have a champagne glasses in the room despite using them only for the pictures. Neither they allowed us to have any food in the room despite it was bread (just because we haven't told them in advance). - none of the suppliers (florist, musicians, photographer, videographer etc) had a pleasure of working with their wedding planner as she was perceived as unprofessional. - their wedding planner didn't want to collaborate with the musicians. The kitchen/wedding planner, didn't want to tell musicians when the dishes are coming out not even the first plate, not even when the cake is ready!! It means no guest saw the cut of the cake!!! - when guests were invited for desserts, Luisa shouted at them when they put desserts on their plates!! So rude. If they were supposed to go for the cut of the cake rather than desserts, she could just indicate for them where to go, but it didn't happen. - we agreed that the wedding planner will buy vodka on our behalf (everything confirmed MONTHS in advance) and put them on the table just before guests arrive. 2 days before the wedding, she informed us that she doesn't have the alcohol! at the end she managed to buy (some) BUT didn't put on each table (only in a few!!). It was a trigger for me as Polish traditions were disrespected, something that we spoke with villa rinaldi on a very first call before even reserving the place. Actually, the wedding planner told the musicians to do the least of Polish elements//to be mostly Italian wedding. I will skip other Luisa's comments that my husband's family overheard about making it half polish wedding. - we 'had' a waiter that introduced himself as our personal waiter with his totally disposal to us during the whole wedding. Imagine that he disappeared after the first plate of pasta and I didn't see him until the cut of the cake. "Sorry no sorry if you need anything." - once the party finished, villa rinaldi was giving us our vodka back (together with other things) as not many guests were drinking it and the bottles were full or half full. However, they still decided to keep majority of the bottles for themselves (bottles that we paid personally for them) - there were soft drinks available but only upon on request and almost nobody knew it. Especially non-italian guests. :( - we agreed there will be lemondate available for guests before we arrive from the church to villa but I believe it didn't happen as nobody saw it. - don't expect any person to speak English. If you want a stressful and disorganised day in a beautiful place with good food, it is a place to go. I guess this place may work well if you only want to feed people and let them go home. Merit needs to be given for accommodating us with postponining our wedding twice due to covid
